* This is a sales AND leadership position. You must enjoy selling and leading other to sell.
* The position requires the ability to work any 5 of 7 days per week and the ability to work opening, mid or closing shifts. Your schedule will rotate and you will never have to work every weekend or every closing shift but the position does require working some weekends, some evenings in a preplanned pattern scheduled a month in advance allowing for work/life balance and to accommodate preplanned events.

What You'll Be Responsible For:
- Executing sales strategies that drive membership, retail, and service upgrades
- Training and coaching team members (front desk spa associates) to sell without being pushy
- Monitoring daily/weekly/monthly sales KPIs and setting clear performance goals
- Leading sales meetings and 1:1 coaching sessions focused on conversion, upselling, and retention
- Hiring and developing team members with a focus on accountability and sales performance
- Delivering a consistently exceptional guest experience that supports conversion and repeat visits
- A sales-first leader — with a proven track record of hitting (and exceeding) targets
- Experienced in training others to sell — not just selling yourself
- Confident with numbers: conversions, retail per ticket, membership growth, etc.
- A strong communicator who can inspire, correct, and motivate in equal measure
- Professional, polished, and passionate about customer experience
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments

As a franchise model, Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Destin is independently owned and operated (by owners who live locally), with the national brand awareness of a leading company in the wellness industry. Our Location spa is 34940 Emerald Coast Pkwy #109 Destin FL 32541. Our spa employs industry veterans and teammates who are just starting their career. We pride ourselves on positive, honest communication where our goal is to be inclusive and supportive of each other. Successful candidates often come to us from restaurants, hotels, gyms and membership-based concepts such as boutique fitness and massage spas. Maria and I wound up in the health and wellness industry by luck, because it found us. One particularly memorable day Maria called me from work, the stress she was under was terrible and she told me I was going to have to give her a massage when she got home. At that moment, I happened to be carrying the mail in from the mailbox and saw a postcard for the Grand Opening of the Winter Springs Hand & Stone location. Knowing that I had no massage skills of my own, I called and made us an appointment. Needless to say, we had a life changing experience and instead of becoming members, we chose to become supportive leaders.
We are now blessed to have the privilege of being the caretakers and stewards to the spas and cultures we've created. Our job is to provide a safe and positive work environment for our highly skilled, licensed spa professionals. Frankly, I have this job today because I cannot do what our massage therapists and estheticians do every day. We take pride in providing a place where our teammates can come and share their gifts with the world, free from worry about all the stresses of operating a business.
